A question for MTG players?

Do you feel that yugioh disrespects the game or Magic. It's very elementary game where the strongest cards win not the smartest player with the most cleverly used cards. But now that yugioh is big and a girl finds out I play cards they automaticaly tell people I play yugioh. Magic tourneys have mature player where the only yugioh players i have seen are spoiled 14 year old nerds. Is it just me?
