Chest infection over a month?

for over a month ill wake up with my nose and throat filled with mucus and i have a very mild cough every now and then i got a tattoo on my chest right before it happen and am a lil worried of it cause it wasn't in a shop the guy was good and it looked sterile. wondering if there's any disease related to it
