Cartilage piercing bleeding?

So, yesterday I got my cartilage pierced with a needle (I did my research on the gun vs. needle!) at really good place and don't worry everything was sterile. I was just wondering if it's normal for it to bleed a little whenever you move it (I got a hoop) or clean it underneath (kind of tugging on it). It only bleeds a tiny bit and it's freshly pierced but I just wanted to know if it's normal for it to do that.
