Electric or microwave steam sterelizer?

which of these is best. i will be buying avent brand but trying to decide which would be best. i see that the microwave ones are half the price of the steam one but i dont no if i would be satisfied that bottles etc were actually sterile where as electric ones will swich off when cycle is finished so i wont be wondering if i did it right lol experiences and opinions please :)
